In thebreeding process of chicks, it takes a lot of energy from farmers. The feed for the chicks in thebrooder cageis also a key point for raising chicks. Therefore, the choice of brood feed must be highly nutritious, and the quality and quantity of feed must be up to standard when feeding, so as to help the chicks grow quickly and healthily. However, the storage of feed is a big problem. Even the best storage of feed is not good, so the author will introduce some key points for storing feed.

1. Temperature: Inside the warehouse where the feed is stored, the temperature will affect the storage of the feed. When the temperature is 15 ℃ or below, some pathogenic microorganisms reproduce very slowly, or even stop. However, when the temperature in the warehouse reaches about 29°C, the pathogenic microorganisms reproduce very quickly. Therefore, when farmers store feed, they must pay attention to changes in temperature. If farmers find insect disasters, they can use fumigation to disinfect and exterminate insects.

2. Humidity: Changes in the humidity in the warehouse will also affect the storage level of the feed. With the progress of humidity, the mold rapidly multiplies, so that the temperature and humidity in the warehouse are improved. Along with the mildew and sour taste, the humidity should be controlled below 65%.

3. Light: Outside light will affect the consumption of feed nutrients. The nutrients in the feed are often mutated due to the onset of light or accelerated by light. Light has a catalytic effect on feed changes. If the light is too long for a long time, it will affect the oxidation of fat in the feed and damage the fat-soluble vitamins. The protein in the feed will also metamorphose due to light.

4. Oxygen: Farmers should pay attention to the oxygen in the air to oxidize the fat in the feed. Will seriously affect the biological value of protein, and damage certain vitamins, not only affect nutrition, and reduce palatability.

5. Microorganisms: Molds, bacteria, and yeasts in the air may multiply rapidly due to changes in the warehouse environment, reduce the availability of raw materials, and may cause poisoning due to toxins.

6. Properties of raw materials: such as fineness, pH value, integrity, uniformity, water content, maturity, etc. Generally, the moisture of raw materials below 13% can inhibit the growth of most microorganisms, and below 10% can reduce the occurrence of insects.

7. Warehousing equipment and handling: Farmers must not pay attention to the handling of chickens, the same handling of feed breeding is very important. It is advocated that farmers should not buy too much at one time when purchasing feed, in order to ensure the freshness of feed. Others should pay attention to the control, ventilation, turnover, first-in first-out, etc. of the pests in the warehouse.
